I am 4mos post op so I could really use all the items in this giveaway. I am So Thankful I was given the Gift of WLS. I am on Medicare was blessed that WLS was covered. I had started in 2004 to try to get approved and was denied so I just kept gaining weight. Now I am off diabetes,h/bp,and about a total of 9 meds. Still on the journey and would do it all over again. Looking forward to see what God has in store with a healthier ME. Also Thankful for my supportive DH during this journey.

Since you said you would choose by RNG I assume I don't need to try and dazzle you with my comments about why I would like to win so instead I can just let you know that this is my first time writing a comment to you. I found you about a month ago and having been enjoying your blog so much. I will be three years on Dec 20th but it was the day before Thanksgiving when I got the "you are approved by insurance" call. I remember in almost a visceral way how happy, grateful and lucky I felt that day, and really, ever since. The surgery changed my life and for three years now I will have been happy, healthy ...saved really. Your blog reminds me every time I read it of the joy of this experience. yes, I know parts of it have been hard, but none as hard as living before WLS. This has all been worth it. thanks for all of the wonderful and creative recipes. Shelly--love your blog & all of your great ideas & recipes. Just wish I could get into planning & cooking. Had conversion from lapband on 8/25, had strictures dialated in Sept & Oct, and just had surgery for bowel obstruction! So I've been doing a lot of liquid & soft foods--everytime I work up to 'real' food I have some problem. I'm also in a boggle with vitamins esp. Calcium. Don't like the big chewable tablets I have now. It would be nice to be able to try a small sample before committing to buy hundreds of them. Thanks for your caring enough to share with us.
